Sayeret Egoz is an Israeli army counter terror unit. The Egoz unit belongs to the Golani, Israel's 1st infantry brigade. During the 90's its main objective were the Hezbollah terror groups. After the withdrawl from Lebanon the unit moved to the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
