Armor brigade BARAK tag

Barak armor division is a regular tanks unit of the Israeli army. It was established as an infantry brigade and fought during the Israeli war of independence in the Northern front. During the Six Days War the division fought in the Dotan valley battle against Jordanian tanks. The Yom Kippur war found the Barak fighting in the Golan Heights, defending the line and almost eliminated while driving back the Syrian invasion. Gilad Shalit, the kidnapped Israeli soldier is a tank crewman of the Barak division.
