Hatzor air force base also known as Wing Four is located in central Israel, not far from Ashdod and near kibbutz Hatzor after which it is named. It was built for the RAF during the during World War II and was named Qastina. Two IAF squadrons are based in Hatzor. "The first fighters" squadron deploying F-16C and "The Scorpion" flying F-16D.
